Thusly, a medicinal herb garden is born. And yea, tho there be poisons and sweets and grasses alike, there shall be healing energies among them. And she looked down at what she wrought, and saw it was good. And there was much rejoicing and dancing, for the people knew they would be healed.
(my photo, my garden)
The lady’s herb, English Lavender. Lavender is a wonderful sedative, put some of it in your pillowcase for sound sleep, or steep it in hot water for a calming tea.
Again, one of my photos, Wolfson College Gardens, Cambridge University, UK.
From left to right- lavender, chamomile and thyme! My seedlings are starting! I’m using my aero garden to start them
Inside before transplanting them outside. ^_^
Later in the year I will cook with these, mix these with preserves, and dry them to use later.
